Regular visitors will (hopefully) have noticed a radical change in the look of the website recently. A client of mine, Ash Goodman, a wordpress expert based in the Philippines showed me a wordpress theme he had developed that was just about to go on general release. For a while I have been looking for an elegant, uncluttered, professional theme that was easy to manipulate, easy to add to and easy to live with generally.
I hope you agree that Ash’s Refined theme which I am now using covers all of those requirements and more, much more. So I agreed to buy it and was the first site to go live with it. Surprisingly (for me anyway) it was remarkably simple to adopt the theme and the couple of issues I came across were quickly dealt with by a very patient man!
Overall, I can change to look and colouring to suit my mood, or just a different colour every month for the heck of it! Or, I leave it as is for now. It is so easy to add videos to this site now I am making a list of them for working on, some of them centered around Xero such as this one here on my bookkeeping site (same theme now!), and some of them on marketing, our paperless office, the 3rd party sites that feed into Xero, and many more. I have also been able to remove the plug-in that looked after the SEO of the site and the monthly fee that went with it – Ash’s theme has all this built into it!
I feel like the site has been reborn and I look forward to supplying you with topical and interesting information and advice for a long time to come.
If you would like to buy this theme for your own wordpress site, give Ash Goodman a shout via his website at http://impowersites.com/built-on-a-solid-foundation/ and tell him I sent you. Ash does a lot of wordpress work, not just this theme, so have a good look around his site and see if there
is any aspect of wordpress he could help you with. I cannot recommend him highly enough!
