Recession Busting Tips

Recession Busting Tips

I originally wrote the Recession Busting Tips Report in October 2008 when the recession was still a “credit crunch”. I wanted to give clients some helpful hints in how to survive and maybe even prosper as the economy sank and the public mood sank with it along with jobs, while business bankruptcies and debts started to rocket.

I have often given a copy of this report to new clients as an idea of the sort of help they can expect from me over time and recently I offered it again on UK Business Labs forum.

I am pleased to note that the content of the report is still as valid today as it was in 2008.  I feel that we are no longer in a recession, an economic downturn, a credit crunch or any other glib description that tries to make sense of the way things are now.  The fact is that this is now the new reality and instead of waiting, hoping, dreaming that the politicians will eventually sort things out – we just have to learn to accept this reality and even embrace it.

No – I haven’t gone mad.  It is important that every business person works hard on their business and if my Recession Busting Tips report helps a little in inspiring just one more business to succeed then it is worth me reminding you all that you can claim your free copy simply by clicking the link below.  It is part of my campaign to boost the company Face Book page past 30 likes to open up the additional insights that FaceBook say are available.  I really want to know what they are!  You can also Like us with google+ or on Twitter about it if you prefer those options!  Only one is needed though!

It is a small ask for a load of ideas and inspiration to help you through the difficult conditions we all face.

I am a qualified Certified Practising Accountant having passed my final exams way back in 1981. I actually can’t believe that was 33 years ago!! Anyway, I am now in my 50’s and I have been running my own business since May 1983. And before you ask, no, I have never regretted a moment of it! Part of the membership requirements of my professional body now dictate that I spend quite a lot of time on “CPD” - continuing professional education (one of their better ideas) - and over the last two years I decided to study business growth and marketing. I have learnt such a lot and that knowledge has radically changed my old “accountants” approach to business. It has made such a difference to the way I work and operate I feel that I just have to pass on this knowledge. It is simply too powerful to hold back!! - but I will try and do it in simple terms rather than expecting you to spend hours, as I had to, working through the difficult language that trainers seem to use to pass on their concepts. I hope you find the blog a useful resource and interesting place to visit as the months pass. I will do my best to keep up the flow - but if there are any topics you would like me to cover, then please let me know. Ray Stewart
