A Change Of Theme…
I mean the presentation of the site rather than the content!!
I decided to change the look of the site some weeks ago but the problem is that there are so many WordPress themes “out there”. Some need widgets/plugins to work, some need editing to show the RSS feed in the place I want it etc… I have tried many themes out on the blog and you may have noticed this if you looked in on one of the days I was trying them out.
I have settled on this site as it meets most of my requirements. I expect I will need to change/upgrade to a professional template eventually but at the moment this one will do nicely.
My problem is that some of my articles seem to be quite long and the original theme showed all the posts on one page in a great long list like a roll of toilet paper! There are not so many themes that just show the first few lines of each post and allow you to expand each one if you are interested in reading further.
As with all things, this is a test. Please feel free to let me know if you like the new look, or if you know of any other theme that may suit better – I will look at all suggestions!!
Anyhow, now that I have settled for a little while at least, I will get back to the serious business of writing the old style articles in the new style look!
