Massive Changes Are Occuring Here
I made a decsion yesterday that affects this blog and all the other sites my company has scattered around the internet.
It explains why the theme here has changed – again. The changes are that gradually, all the sites are going to be merged into this one. It means that this blog, formerly just for my personal posts, will become the mainstay of the websites but it will grow with other aspects joining in about bookkeeping, accountancy and taxation, as well as the chance to buy essential programs with my personal support through an e-commerce section, and a gateway to my approved on-line bookkeeping supplier (later this year).
The future for this blog is assured. I will keep my regular postings here about things that you will find both interesting and useful, but there will be, gradually, so much more to the site as well.
I am trying hard to find the right wordpress theme to accommodate all this and yet retain a simple looking and easy to navigate site. So please bear with me whilst some different looks are tested and formatted. If you have any suggestions for a theme that can cope, please let me know.
The reason for this is to make it simpler for me to keep focused on my postings, and not to have to think about separate issues, looks and content for each of the sites which has been distracting for me of late.
I was hoping to persuade a professional web designer to help me out – but for various reasons that hasn’t occurred – and the very person I was hoping would take on the work made it clear she couldn’t take it on. A shame, but maybe, hopefully, in a few months…
In the meantime I will do my very best to merge everything myself and I know the end result will justify the pain, hassle and constant jigging that I am going to put you through – so please bear with it.
