New SureStart Service Launched For Start-Up Businesses

What Now?I have been talking to a number of new business start-ups lately and there is clearly a need for a service tailored specifically for new businesses that helps them in their first year of trading.  I am offering loads of advice, help and support for an agreed fee.  No surprise bills and no limit to the amount of phone calls and meetings in the first 12 months.

SureStart is the new fixed fee small business support program from CBS Ltd.

Why have I decided this is an essential addition to our range of services?  Partly because research shows that 4 out of 5 businesses fail within the first 5 years57% of business startups fail in the first 12 months  partly because it has also been found time and again that businesses that plan and seek professional advice from the outset have a significantly greater chance of being very successful.

SureStart is designed to help your business overcome the hurdles that trip up 80% of new businesses and to help it become highly successful.

So how much will your investment in this service be?

As you will see, it is worth as much as £4,680 plus VAT – but the good news is that your investment will only be from £500 plus VAT.

What’s more, since I appreciate that cash flow is all important in the early years of a new business, I will invite you to make a small payment up front and the balance spread over the year as 10 monthly direct debit payments – with no additional charge.

I am a qualified Certified Practising Accountant having passed my final exams way back in 1981. I actually can’t believe that was 37 years ago!! Anyway, I am now in my 60’s and I have been running my own business since May 1983. And before you ask, no, I have never regretted a moment of it! Part of the membership requirements of my professional body now dictate that I spend quite a lot of time on “CPD” - continuing professional education (one of their better ideas) - and over the last two years I decided to study business growth and marketing. I have learnt such a lot and that knowledge has radically changed my old “accountants” approach to business. It has made such a difference to the way I work and operate I feel that I just have to pass on this knowledge. It is simply too powerful to hold back!! - but I will try and do it in simple terms rather than expecting you to spend hours, as I had to, working through the difficult language that trainers seem to use to pass on their concepts. I hope you find the blog a useful resource and interesting place to visit as the months pass. I will do my best to keep up the flow - but if there are any topics you would like me to cover, then please let me know. Ray Stewart
